Wayne Shelton
Last December, Wayne Shelton was enjoying a quiet walk around his yard when things went terribly wrong. “I didn’t see that slick spot and I fell. I couldn’t get back up and I knew something was wrong. Thankfully, my neighbor heard me calling and was able to get EMS here.”
Wayne had broken his hip. He underwent surgery at a local hospital and was told he needed to think about care options after he was discharged from the hospital.

Several days later, Wayne discharged from the hospital and arrived at Prodigy Transitional Rehab for his short stay. “From the moment I arrived, everyone was so nice. The therapists came in the first day and we put together a plan to get me home quickly.”
